A couple leaves the civilized world behind and descends into a living nightmare in this chilling horror thriller. Six months after losing her only child in the Southeast Asia tsunami, Jeanne (Emmanuelle Beart, Mission: Impossible) is convinced she sees him in a film about orphans living in the jungles of Burma. While her husband (Rufus Sewell, TV's "Eleventh Hour") is worried that she's losing her mind, he still agrees to take her to search for their son together. Introduced to a dangerous gang of human traffickers, they find themselves alone and stranded in the middle of a treacherous jungle, set upon by a band of feral children. Has their search for their son led them to a fate more horrific than death?

A couple are looking for their lost child head into the jungle, where they face unknown, horrifying dangers.

Can someone please explain how they actually filmed the ending and it wasn’t banned. Imagine it was the father instead of the mother. The ending was disturbing in the sense that obviously the mother was beyond sane but seriously. A bunch of boys rubbing all over her. Not exactly a healthy mother son relationship. It could have been a great movie if it wasn’t for it’s obvious fetish driven moments. Could have really been a parent loss story but it became too sexual to be about parental love for your child. That kind of love is beyond sex. Someone in control of this movie had some real issues.

Psychological dread and grief paint each scene in this beautiful study of the tragic effects of losing a child. Slow burn Art House Psychological Examination This movie makes me excited about movies. Beautiful cinematography!!
